Earth
There is one place in all the universe, as far as we know, where a child can lie in the grass and watch the clouds drift slowly by. One blue planet where rain falls and rivers run to the sea, where life answered the long silence and filled the morning with song.
This living earth is greater than any of us, and it moves within us still. The same water that fills the oceans runs through your blood. The same air the forests breathe rises and falls in your chest. To pray for the earth is to reach toward something vast and far beyond you, and in the same breath, to come home to what you have always been.
So hold the whole turning world a while, today and tomorrow and the day after. Picture it whole and shining, and offer it what you offer all you love: a wish for its health, its balance, its long and certain thriving. Let this be your prayer for the earth, in your own words, in your own tongue. The truest ones are already yours, and they are rising even now.

An Eco-Prayer for the Earth
Earth is embracing form. Dust and stone forming ground and foundation.
The Below that stands under and reflects understanding. The womb of life fire that informs and nurtures the growth of seeds. Mineral law giving structure to essence.
Worms, roots and baby fox all grow here.
Does the cool richness of the Earth call to you?
